Your Order
All orders must be placed via our online shop (website), however please feel free to give us a ring on 01274 879520 and discuss your requirements with us before placing your order. We are always happy to answer any questions you may have about our products. Please note that this number may not be manned when you ring and if you have to leave us a message we will call you straight back.
All orders are confirmed to you by email, therefore you must be able to give an email address at the time of ordering.
Your Payments
Payment can be made via our website using any major credit or debit card and, as we use Paypal to process the payments, you can also use your personal Paypal account.
Paypal is a very secure payment method and further details can be found at www.paypal.co.uk.
Payment is taken at the time of order.
Please note that you do not need a Paypal account to order via our website
Payments can also be made by cheque, made payable to 'The Best Dressed Garden Ltd' and posted to The Best Dressed Garden, 4 Southview, Scholes, Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, BD19 6LY.
Your Privacy and Security
We have to take some details from you to enable us to fulfil your order. We have tried to keep these to an absolute minimum to make the ordering process as simple as possible. Address details are passed to the manufacturer for delivery purposes and for the larger items we pass on your telephone number to the courier in case of problems with deliveries, unless you specifically ask us not to.
We will never pass your details onto a third party for marketing purposes.
We automatically add your email address to our monthly e-newsletter list and you are free to unsubscribe from this e-newsletter at any time.
Delivery Information
Many items sold by The Best Dressed Garden are made to order and/or are shipped to the customer directly from the manufacturer, therefore the delivery leadtimes vary depending on the type of product you have ordered and/or the location of the manufacturer. We highlight the approximate delivery leadtimes next to the individual product details, however where possible we will try to reduce these leadtimes to get your order to you as soon as possible and we will notify you of the exact leadtime once we have received your order.
We use Royal Mail for the smaller items, and a reputable courier for the larger items. In the case of larger items which cannot be stored at the local sorting office for you to collect, we will arrange a convenient delivery date with you. If you are not available to receive the item, the courier will normally try to deliver your item the following day. However, please be aware that if you do not receive the delivery as arranged, you could be liable for a returned item fee, as well as the additional cost to redeliver your item.
If you have special delivery requirements, or would like to add a note for the Courier (for example "use back door"), you can do this during the checkout process.
Delivery Costs
Our delivery charges fall into three price brackets for UK mainland addresses:-
- Small items (eg lanterns, bird houses) - £4.95
- Medium items (eg single chairs, firebowls) - £10.00
- Large items (eg benches, tables) - £40.00

We offer FREE delivery for orders over £750 to a single delivery address within the UK mainland
Quotations to deliver items to addresses outside of the UK mainland are available on request. Please call on 01274 879520 or email us hello@thebestdressedgarden.co.uk with the relevant address.
No Risk 30 day Returns
We offer a no-quibble 30-day returns policy on standard products. If you change your mind about the goods you have ordered and return these goods to The Best Dressed Garden within 30 days of delivery, we will refund the full amount of the goods to you. To be eligible for a refund, you must return the goods in the same condition you received them ie unused and with all packaging and shrink wrap intact. Postage charges for returning the item are borne by you, the Customer.
Made to Order Products
Many of our products are made to order or are designed to your specification and the 30-day return policy does not apply to these goods. However, as with all online purchases, you do have the standard 7 days after placing your order in which to cancel the order.
Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within three working days of receiving the goods on 01274 879520 or by email hello@thebestdressedgarden.co.uk. Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund. You will be issued with a credit note for any items returned after this time. Please ensure all items are wrapped securely and we recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. The delivery costs for damaged or faulty items will be refunded in full if the goods are returned within the 14 days
